Resident parking permits

Some streets in Conwy have resident parking schemes. If you live in one, you can apply for or renew your permit online. Visitor permits are available too, for family, carers and tradespeople.

A permit lets you park within your scheme area, but it doesn’t guarantee a space outside your home.

Want a scheme on your street?

  1. Email [email protected] to ask the council to consider your street.
  2. The council surveys households. At least 40% need to respond, and 75% of those need to be in favour.
  3. If there’s support, a Traffic Regulation Order is needed before a scheme can start.

Blue Badges

If you or someone you care for has a disability or condition that makes getting around difficult, you may be able to get a Blue Badge, which lets you park closer to where you need to go.

Apply for a Blue Badge through Conwy Council

Council car parks

Llandudno’s pay and display car parks take cash, card, phone payments and the PayByPhone app.

Watch out for QR code scams. Conwy Council never uses QR codes for parking payments. If you see one stuck on a machine, don’t scan it, and report it to [email protected].
