Zip World was born in the lush hills of North Wales and has stayed true to its predominantly welsh roots ever since. With sites now spanning, Bethesda, Blaenau Ffestiniog, and Betws-Y-Coed; the adventure team are repaying the loyalty shown by their neighbours in the eights years they’ve been situated in the Welsh mountains.

Opened in 2013, with the launch of Velocity, the adventure facility has gone from strength to strength. The addition of the first four-person zip line in Europe was certainly a draw for the adrenaline crowd.

The attraction Bounce Below set in the caves of a former slate quarry; has recently been a source of television intrigue. The new style TV show is due to air in March, each level of the chamber has been carefully transformed. Imagine a giant maze, filled with intricate puzzled and a difficult surface to navigate. Mental acuity, teamwork and a high level of fitness; will be testing people to their limits.

But why not just head into the caverns for a fun bounce with the family; leave the puzzles to the professionals. Bounce Below isn’t for the faint-hearted. Be prepared to jump, run, bounce, and more than likely, fall over…lots! It’s a great way to bond as a group; the slides and slippery pathways really inspire the ideas of teamwork.

Set at an impressive 80ft in the air, this is definitely for the thrill seekers amongst you. However, if you haven’t got a head for heights, you can stay with feet firmly planted on the ground at the Fforest Café. Welcoming adventure seekers,
